The Hospitality Management Major provides a comprehensive education for careers in the hospitality field. This diverse curriculum equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to excel in any sector of the industry after completing their studies. Alongside the university's core requirements, students enroll in specialized courses covering hospitality fundamentals, HR management, organizational behavior, facilities operations, hospitality law, and leadership/ethics training. The program also includes instruction in food safety, food service management, cost analysis, career planning, accounting principles, financial strategies, service operations, and strategic business management.
With 22 elective credits available, learners can tailor their academic journey by choosing subjects aligned with their personal interests. While optional, students may select a concentration to direct their electives toward a specialized field. The program culminates with an internship, two advanced capstone courses that apply management and leadership training, and real-world hospitality work experience.
