UNLV's extensive medical imaging curriculum is a cutting-edge educational initiative that trains students in fundamental mathematical and scientific principles relevant to the interdisciplinary field of diagnostic imaging. The program provides both theoretical knowledge and hands-on clinical training in advanced imaging technologies including Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Ultrasound. Upon completion, graduates will be qualified to operate sophisticated imaging equipment, perform patient scans, optimize digital images, administer contrast media, adhere to rigorous quality standards, and contribute to research in the medical imaging field.
