The design/technology program provides focused education in costume, lighting, scenic design, and theater technology for students aiming for professional design or technical careers, or advanced conservatory training. Alongside the fundamental theater courses all majors complete, this concentration demands additional specialized coursework in selected design and technology fields. The curriculum includes computer-aided drafting, dramatic literature, and various interdisciplinary courses from art, film, music, and dance to enrich students' skills. Participants gain hands-on experience through multiple production roles, including design projects.
