The Industrial/Organizational Program faculty bring extensive knowledge, specialized skills, and practical experience from both academic research and real-world applications. Our program maintains close collaborations with faculty from the College of Business and the College of Information Science & Technology, while also cultivating relationships with numerous businesses and organizations across the Omaha region and beyond.
Supporting our graduate students' achievements is a top priority. Students receive guidance through mentorship from both faculty members and advanced peers. Aligned with the scientist-practitioner approach, we offer diverse research opportunities and practical fieldwork experiences alongside comprehensive coursework. We actively encourage student participation in relevant local and national professional organizations to support their career aspirations. Our alumni have successfully obtained positions across various sectors including corporate environments, consulting firms, and academic institutions.
The MS in industrial/organizational psychology equips students for professional practice while providing a foundation for further academic pursuits. Our curriculum follows the scientist-practitioner framework endorsed by the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology (SIOP).
