The Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies (BMS) provides a unique interdisciplinary education, enabling students to explore diverse fields of study, develop problem-solving skills that integrate multiple viewpoints, and cultivate a passion for continuous learning. Designed to accommodate the varied backgrounds and aspirations of learners across generations, the BMS program offers flexibility in accepting transfer credits and recognizing non-traditional educational experiences. The coursework bridges students' prior knowledge with specialized disciplines they choose to focus on within their degree path.
The School of Criminology and Criminal Justice offers an accelerated Fast Track option for high-achieving students, allowing them to earn both bachelor's and master's degrees in a shorter timeframe. Through Fast Track, participants can apply up to 9 graduate-level credits toward both their undergraduate and graduate degree requirements.
Program Learning Objectives
The BMS program is carefully structured to monitor, enhance, and demonstrate student growth across key competencies. As they progress, students actively reflect on, articulate, and record their advancement toward each program Goal and Learning Outcome, regardless of where or how the knowledge was gained.
