The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program mandates at least 120 credit hours of coursework. This degree offers a comprehensive, performance-focused arts education that equips students for professional careers in fine arts and advanced studies. Within the BFA's 120-credit requirement, 66 hours must be in ART courses. The Art & Art History department cultivates visual literacy, creative skills, and analytical abilities through hands-on practice and academic research, training future artists, academics, and educators. Students gain expertise across multiple art disciplines, positioning them to excel in their professions and create meaningful societal impact. The program holds full accreditation from the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
