Our program teaches majors to locate and evaluate primary sources, interpret complex evidence with sophistication, and articulate discoveries persuasively through speech and writing. To earn either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in history, students must complete at least 36 history credit hours. Those pursuing a B.A. must additionally achieve intermediate proficiency in a foreign language.
