Architecture graduate programs cater to individuals aiming for research-focused careers in the field, including academic positions or design research. The accredited M.Arch. degree prepares students for professional architectural practice, while the Master of Science offers a research-centered curriculum. Beyond the Interior Design specialization, candidates can choose from multiple study areas aligned with faculty expertise (detailed below). Admission requires an undergraduate architecture, interior design, or related degree. The College of Architecture operates from its historic home in Architecture Hall. Built in the 1890s and serving as the university library from 1894, this landmark building stands as the oldest and most unique structure on UNL's City Campus. Architecture Hall features exceptional resources including specialized libraries and state-of-the-art labs for digital design, photography, woodworking, and metal fabrication.
