The University of Nebraska-Lincoln provides three architectural engineering graduate programs, operating from both the UNL City Campus in Lincoln and the Peter Kiewit Institute (PKI) in Omaha, located 50 miles northeast of Lincoln. These interconnected programs across two cities enable students to collaborate with faculty from various specialties and gain valuable industry exposure. The Durham School offers multiple pathways for post-bachelor's education, including master's and Ph.D. programs in Architectural Engineering or Construction Engineering and Management. Campus life is enriched by student organizations such as: Acoustical Society of America Student Chapter, Architectural Engineering Institute Student Chapter, UNL's Architectural Engineering Construction Student Outreach Program (AECSOP), and Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.
