The Complex Biosystems program is designed for students who want to use quantitative statistical and computational methods across various biological fields, such as human health, medical biochemistry, microbial metagenomics, ecology, evolution, and plant science. During the initial year, this interdisciplinary program provides two semesters of lab rotations covering diverse subjects, along with one semester of hands-on teaching experience. First-year students explore major challenges in the life sciences while gaining expertise in modern technical and analytical techniques to tackle these issues.
