The School of Biological Sciences provides academic programs across diverse biology disciplines, awarding both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees. Our curriculum and research span the full spectrum of biological systems, from molecular processes to entire ecosystems, emphasizing interdisciplinary connections. A biology degree opens doors to numerous career paths such as healthcare, public service, corporate sectors, teaching, and scientific investigation. Biology students are highly encouraged to participate in at least one summer term at the Cedar Point Biological Station. Additionally, undergraduates are recommended to pursue faculty-mentored research opportunities.
