Agronomy is the scientific study of crops and soils, covering areas like crop cultivation, plant breeding, seed development, weed control, grassland management, soil treatment and irrigation, and soil preservation. The agronomy curriculum caters to students passionate about plant and soil sciences in the context of profitable agriculture and ecological sustainability. This major offers six specialized tracks to equip graduates for various agricultural professions. Students must complete coursework in one of these concentrations: crop cultivation, comprehensive crop management, agricultural business, scientific research, soil studies, or organic agriculture and sustainable food production.
