The Master of Science in Environmental Studies provides adaptable programming, allowing students to collaborate with academic advisors in crafting personalized curricula. Learners may select courses from Environmental Studies or across the University's offerings. The program mandates completion of at least one 3-credit course from each core discipline: Scientific Approaches, Policy Approaches, Thought & Writing, and Engagement, though students are welcome to pursue additional courses in these fields. This graduate program features multiple specialization options including environmental education, environmental justice, Indigenous knowledge systems, environmental policy & law, environmental writing, and sustainable food systems & agriculture.
