An undergraduate degree in linguistics is not required, but an introductory course in linguistics is strongly recommended.
You will be asked to submit:
A 1-2 page statement explaining why you want to pursue an MA degree in Linguistics at the University of Montana, your qualifications for studying linguistics at the graduate level, and your future career goals.
3 letters of recommendation.

Transcripts from all post-secondary schools attended. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for application review. Students admitted to the program will be required to submit official transcripts prior to course registration.
