The environmental science degree's ecosystem science and restoration track covers all this and beyond through an immersive curriculum that explores ecological systems from microscopic to planetary levels.
Our experiential learning programs offer some of the most impactful educational journeys for university students globally. You'll examine nearby river, stream, and woodland rehabilitation projects while studying ecosystem principles through visits to wildfire zones. Additionally, you'll gain exclusive chances to intern with local nonprofits, government bodies, and private restoration firms, plus acquire practical rehabilitation skills by collaborating with UM's Ecological Restoration Society.

Qualification Requirements
To be considered for undergraduate admission to University of Montana, all international applicants must demonstrate English proficiency by submitting a score on an approved test or by qualifying for an exemption.
