The Master of Science in Information Systems and Technology (MSIST) program equips students with both technical expertise and leadership skills for careers in designing, implementing, and overseeing information systems. This 30-credit STEM-certified degree offers advanced training in application development, business analytics, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and other cutting-edge fields shaping modern enterprise IT strategies.
Tailored for working professionals, the program can be finished in one to one-and-a-half years. With adaptable scheduling options (day/evening classes, weekend sessions, 8- or 16-week terms) and multiple delivery methods (in-person, hybrid, online), students can effectively manage their education alongside career and personal commitments.
The curriculum accommodates learners from various academic backgrounds. Qualification Requirements

Applicants must have an undergraduate degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Students whose GPAs are between 2.75 and 2.9 may be admitted under a restricted status within the terms specified by the Graduate School.
Applicants must have foundational knowledge of data analysis and computer programming. This requirement can be fulfilled by providing evidence of prior coursework, training, or professional experience.
Applicants may also join the program without this background and complete the following coursework.
Students without a background in data analysis could take SCMA 5300 as a graduate student to fulfill this requirement.
Students without a background in computer programming can take INFSYS 6805 as a graduate student to fulfill this requirement.

Applicants with a 3.0 GPA or higher (on a 4.0 scale) qualify for regular admission. Students may be admitted on a
restricted status if their GPA is slightly below 3.0.
