The Artificial Intelligence graduate certificate is a 12-credit program consisting of four courses. This program equips students with essential AI skills and knowledge, offering various elective options to specialize in specific study areas. Participants complete two core courses and two electives, following graduate school guidelines.
At least three courses must be completed through UMSL, with a maximum of two 4000-level courses allowed. Course substitutions are possible with approval from the certificate coordinator. Interested students should reach out to the designated coordinator for further details.
Prospective students need to have completed prerequisite courses, possess relevant background knowledge or experience, or hold graduate status in Computer Science or Cybersecurity. Some electives may require additional coursework depending on the chosen specialization.
