The UMSL Doctor of Business Administration is a three-year program following a cohort model, featuring a flexible structure with minimal on-campus requirements. Students attend just two weekend sessions per term on campus.
Participants progress through the UMSL DBA program together as a group, meeting in person for two weekends each semester while continuing academic collaboration through online platforms. The curriculum spans contemporary business subjects during the initial two years, followed by dedicated dissertation research in the final year.
This program cultivates management scholars within an academic environment led by distinguished faculty known for their research contributions and graduate teaching excellence, while maintaining strong industry connections.
As part of the Executive DBA Council's global network of doctoral programs, the UMSL DBA program is represented by Dr. Ekin Pellegrini, its Founding Director, who currently holds the position of President-Elect on the EDBAC board.
Designed for experienced professionals, the UMSL DBA equips executives with advanced research capabilities to address complex organizational challenges.
