This STEM-designated degree follows CIP Code 11.1003 (Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance).
When applying for admission, students select either a:
Computer Science track or
Information Systems and Technology track
After choosing their specialization during admission, students fulfill general education requirements and complete core courses shared by both tracks. They then take specialized courses in either Computer Science or Information Systems and Technology.
Both tracks combine technical and business-focused training to equip students for diverse cybersecurity and IT careers. The Computer Science track delivers deeper technical expertise, while the Information Systems and Technology track emphasizes business and management aspects of cybersecurity.
