The Integrated BS/MS (2+3) dual degree program offers Computer Science undergraduates the opportunity to earn dual credit. Eligible students can apply graduate course credits toward both degrees, potentially shortening their MS program by up to 12 credit hours.
Upon program admission, students continue their undergraduate studies while being reclassified as graduate students in the following semester, requiring payment of graduate tuition. A dedicated graduate advisor assists with the transition, enabling students to take both undergraduate and graduate-level courses simultaneously. While fulfilling all undergraduate requirements, students work toward completing their M.S. in Computer Science, with up to 12 credit hours applying to both degrees - significantly decreasing the total coursework needed for the graduate degree.
Students may apply for their undergraduate degree upon meeting all requirements, either before or during their final Master's semester. Regardless of degree conferral timing, all BS requirements must be completed. Participants retain the option to conclude their studies with only a bachelor's degree if desired.
