Every graduate program in the Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences, encompassing both master's and PhD degrees, is research-focused. To earn a master's degree, students must complete at least 30 semester hours of 8000 or 9000-level courses while maintaining a B average or higher in graduate coursework, with research, independent studies, seminars, or special topics courses limited to 12 credit hours.
