The DSA program features a comprehensive, technically-demanding core curriculum complemented by specialized courses in chosen domains.
State-of-the-art Big Data and Analytics methodologies are integrated across all program coursework, available both online and on-campus. Each spring, students participate in a week-long executive session on campus, collaborating with faculty and industry experts.

Participants will benefit from close faculty mentorship, hands-on experience tackling real-world Big Data challenges, and focused exploration of concepts within their specialization area.

Qualification Requirements

A 4year bachelors degree or its approved equivalent is necessary to pursue graduate work at the University of Missouri
If English is not your native language a TOEFL score of at least 80 internetbased test or an IELTS score of at least 6.5 or a Duolingo English Test score of at least 115 is required and must be dated within the last two years

The Graduate Record Examination GRE is not required for entry in the program applicants are encouraged to provide scores if they feel it will strengthen their application
Minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 hours of undergrad education demonstrate strengths needed to succeed in the DSA however consideration will be given to GPAs lower than 3.0 balanced with industry experience
All applications are evaluated holistically with admission being based on previous academic achievement work experience and the desire to succeed in the data science field To be matriculated into the program applicants must be accepted by the Data Science and Analytics program as well as meet the minimum requirements of the Graduate School at the University of Missouri.
