The Visual Studies MA program integrates specialized education in art history, material culture, and media studies with public humanities initiatives. Participants merge academic studies with hands-on experiences in outreach, research, and teaching, preparing for careers in educational settings, cultural institutions, and the creative sector. The curriculum offers diverse courses in historical and theoretical studies within SVS, while also allowing students to explore complementary graduate programs like English, History, or Women's and Gender Studies based on individual interests. Additionally, students can pair their Visual Studies degree with graduate certificates in Digital Humanities, Public Engagement, or pursue a Museum Studies minor.
