The 18-hour Quantitative Research Certificate (QRC) equips researchers and scholars with the skills to utilize and critically evaluate quantitative research methods. This program trains participants in diverse methodologies to perform thorough, scientifically sound quantitative studies.
Upon completing the QRC (based on their selected track), students will gain the ability to:
Create well-structured experimental and quasi-experimental research designs
Handle and work with extensive datasets effectively
Process different data types (including nested and longitudinal data) using suitable modeling approaches
Implement sophisticated statistical techniques (like structural equation modeling and multilevel modeling) in personal research projects
Evaluate research employing various statistical methodologies with a critical eye
Perform measurement-focused studies utilizing methods such as factor analysis or item response theory
