This major serves as the academic foundation for students considering various programs within the College of Engineering.
It also acts as a provisional pathway for those exploring the educational opportunities provided by the College of Engineering (COE). The COE features 10 distinct degree programs distributed across 7 departments.
Undeclared Engineering students enroll in shared courses applicable to multiple programs while determining their preferred engineering specialization. Introductory engineering classes are offered to assist in this selection process. During their first year, students collaborate with advisors and utilize resources to examine their interests, values, and capabilities. Students must select and gain admission to a specific engineering degree program before accumulating 60 credit hours.
