The Textile & Apparel Management (TAM) program centers on the fashion and textile supply network. Its coursework highlights leadership, international supply chains, eco-friendly practices, creative solutions, and technological advancements. Learners can utilize cutting-edge design studios and garment technology facilities. The Apparel Retailing and Digital Merchandising concentration equips students for roles in purchasing, visual merchandising, inventory planning, multi-channel retail strategies, online marketing, and store operations. Meanwhile, the Apparel Product Development specialization trains students for careers in technical fashion design, material sourcing, and production processes. Through academic studies, hands-on fieldwork, professional internships, leadership summits, and student groups, TAM participants acquire essential competencies for leading roles in the industry.
Textile and Apparel Management offers two specializations: Apparel Retailing and Digital Merchandising (ARDM) and Apparel Product Development (APD). The ARDM path gives students expertise in both online and physical retail operations, focusing on fashion merchandising across platforms. The APD pathway teaches students the complete garment creation cycle from initial concept to final product. TAM majors are required to take all department courses for letter grades and cannot opt for Pass/Fail grading.
