The Bachelor of Science in Psychological Sciences (BS) program provides students with a science-focused curriculum, ideal for those pursuing advanced studies in psychology specialties like neuroscience or quantitative psychology, as well as medical school (MD programs, psychiatry) or health-related graduate programs (pharmacy, physical therapy). While the science concentration isn't specified on diplomas or transcripts, students may highlight it on resumes and graduate applications.
This program is primarily campus-based, though select courses might offer online options.
To earn the BS in Psychological Sciences, students must complete:
General Psychology (Psych 1000)
Statistics (Stat 2500 or equivalent)
Research methods sequence (Psych 3010/3020/Capstone)
Four psychology distribution courses
Two psychology electives
