The coursework emphasizes creating effective learning environments for diverse developmental stages. It examines how cultural, political, historical, and economic factors impact students, educators, and educational institutions.
Practical Training
Foundation Phase field experiences consist of:
Sixteen hours of classroom-based activities, including tutoring and small group instruction under teacher guidance.
Twenty hours of service-learning through community organizations (such as Big Brothers Big Sisters or Granny's House).
