A Health Science degree caters to students pursuing non-clinical healthcare professions or advanced studies in health-related fields. Career paths in non-clinical healthcare encompass areas like medical case coordination, workplace wellness initiatives, social services, healthcare sales, and pharmaceutical production and logistics. Those earning a Bachelor of Health Science may also meet prerequisites for graduate programs in fields such as physical rehabilitation, community health, chiropractic care, healthcare data systems, and medical facility management.
On-campus Health Science students select from four specialized tracks:
Rehabilitation Sciences, designed for those aiming for careers in physical therapy, chiropractic care, prosthetic/orthotic devices, and comparable fields
Pre-Professional, tailored for future medical, dental, pharmacy, physician assistant, optometry, and similar graduate-level healthcare programs requiring undergraduate preparation
Leadership and Policy, for students targeting administrative roles through healthcare management degrees or careers in medical informatics, sales, program administration, and healthcare support services
Health and Wellness Services, ideal for those interested in health education, occupational therapy, wellness initiatives, nonprofit organizations, behavioral therapy, or accelerated nursing programs post-graduation
