The Bachelor of Educational Studies (BES) program caters to students passionate about examining education through academic and scientific lenses, as well as those pursuing non-traditional education careers. Potential focus areas encompass learning methodologies, educational technology (including game development), leadership in education and communities, organizational transformation, and policy analysis. The curriculum establishes core knowledge in educational principles, research methods, and practical applications, preparing students to drive meaningful change across diverse environments such as academic institutions, global education initiatives, student services, religious organizations, athletic programs, non-profits, and corporate settings. Note: This degree does not qualify graduates for public school teaching certification through the College of Education & Human Development. The BES program offers both on-campus and online completion options. On-campus students can collaborate with Advising Services to create a customized academic pathway tailored to their specific interests.
