Students accepted into the fast-track MA program in statistics can take up to 12 credit hours of approved graduate courses while still completing their bachelor's degree. These courses fulfill requirements for BOTH their undergraduate and master's degrees in Statistics. This dual-credit system enables students to earn both degrees within five years (commonly referred to as a 4+1 program).
Tailored for exceptional and driven students.
In their senior year (year #1), eligible students can register for up to 12 credits of approved 7000-level courses that apply to BOTH degrees. During this phase, students maintain undergraduate status, pay undergraduate tuition rates, and remain eligible for undergraduate financial support.
Following bachelor's degree completion (year #2), students transition to full graduate status, becoming eligible for graduate assistantships and tuition remission benefits.
