English majors gain expertise in analyzing diverse subjects, eras, literary styles, and methodologies. The program cultivates advanced reading comprehension, analytical reasoning, and writing proficiency through specialized focus areas such as Literature, Creative Writing, Language and Linguistics, Rhetoric, Writing and Media, or a customizable concentration. The BA in English curriculum offers comprehensive exposure to global literary traditions while allowing flexibility through elective choices. This degree fosters versatile, adaptable knowledge applicable to numerous professions demanding superior communication abilities and critical analysis. Alumni have successfully entered fields including corporate sectors, education, media production, marketing, legal professions, public administration, and creative industries.

The Accelerated program enables exceptional English majors to obtain an MA in English through one additional year of study. Participants complete 108 undergraduate credits and 31 graduate credits (totaling 139 credits, with 12 shared 7000-level courses). Candidates must select either the Literature or Creative Writing specialization. Graduates of this intensive program receive both an honors BA and an MA in English.

IGCSE scores of C or higher in five or more subjects AND three A-level certificates with a C or higher.
