The Community Health Promotion MPH program at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health prepares students to collaborate with communities to enhance wellbeing. Our program focuses on applying research and social science to analyze population health behaviors and psychosocial risks, develop community-based prevention initiatives, shape health policies, and measure the impact of behavioral health interventions.
Anyone who has or will obtain a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the U.S. or a comparable degree from an officially recognized college or university outside the U.S. may apply for graduate admission.
The preferred undergraduate GPA for admittance to the program is 3.00.
English Language Proficiency Requirements: TOEFL: Internet Based - Total Score: 100; Paper Based - Total Score: 600; IELTS Academic – 7.0; MELAB – 80; Pearson Test of Academic English (PTE Academic) – 59; Cambridge Assessment English (CAE) C1 Advanced – 180.
