The School of Mathematics provides doctoral programs in pure mathematics and applied mathematics. Research specialties encompass differential equations, probability theory, various branches of analysis (real, complex, harmonic, functional, numerical), geometry (differential and algebraic), topology, number theory, algebra (commutative and group theory), mathematical logic, combinatorics, mathematical physics, industrial applications, biological mathematics, and dynamical systems.
The preferred undergraduate GPA for admittance to the program is 3.00.
Undergraduate degree in mathematics or equivalent.
