The entrepreneurial management program caters to students aspiring to launch new ventures (entrepreneurship), assist established companies in exploring fresh business prospects (intrapreneurship), or drive social change by initiating innovative projects (social entrepreneurship). The coursework spans from foundational problem-solving principles and personal discovery to hands-on creation and execution of actual business ventures, complemented by diverse elective options from various disciplines. The program aims to deliver practical, experience-based education that cultivates the entrepreneurial mindset, abilities, and expertise needed for students to generate their own prospects and thrive as entrepreneurs or as visionary leaders in dynamic, growth-oriented organizations.
Student are required to have a high school graduation
A GPA above 2.0 is preferred for the following: 3.00 transferring from another University of Minnesota college; 3.00 transferring from outside the University
English Language Proficiency Requirements: TOEFL iBT – 79; IELTS Academic – 6.5; Pearson Test of Academic English (PTE Academic) – 59; Cambridge Assessment English (CAE) C1 Advanced – 180.
Application Deadline for Fall: For freshmen international students the deadlines are November 1 (early action 1 deadline), December 1 (early action 2 deadline) and January 1 (regular deadline)
