The Bachelor of Music in Performance is a specialized degree where music-related coursework constitutes around three-quarters of the curriculum. This professional program caters to aspiring musicians seeking intensive training across six concentration areas: classical guitar, harp, organ, piano, strings, or wind/percussion/voice instruments.
Through weekly private lessons with faculty mentors, students hone both solo and ensemble performance skills on their primary instrument, enhanced through chamber music coaching and collaborative ensemble experiences. The curriculum complements practical music training with foundational studies in music theory, aural skills, historical musicology, conducting techniques, and advanced writing coursework to cultivate well-rounded musical artistry.
