The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting offers a rigorous, personalized training program that combines faculty expertise from theatre and dance with professional guidance from the Guthrie Theater's artistic team. This program equips chosen students with comprehensive performance skills—physical, vocal, emotional, and intellectual—required for success in the performing arts. Designed to ready graduates for either advanced conservatory/graduate studies or direct professional work, the curriculum cultivates actors holistically. Students master fundamental techniques for interpreting both classical and modern texts, blending voice, movement, and acting across diverse performance styles.
Student are required to have a high school graduation
English Language Proficiency Requirements: TOEFL iBT – 79; IELTS Academic – 6.5; Pearson Test of Academic English (PTE Academic) – 59; Cambridge Assessment English (CAE) C1 Advanced – 180.
Entry into the BFA acting program is by audition only, and students are admitted only in fall semester.
