Developmental psychology (previously known as child psychology) examines behavioral growth from before birth through adulthood. The curriculum covers subjects such as social growth, cognitive advancement, language acquisition, emotional and behavioral challenges, physical maturation, and research techniques. Through the College of Liberal Arts (CLA), the Institute of Child Development provides both bachelor of arts (BA) and bachelor of science (BS) degrees, along with a minor in developmental psychology. Students pursuing this major cannot simultaneously earn another major or bachelor's degree in psychology.
Student are required to have a high school graduation
English Language Proficiency Requirements: TOEFL iBT – 79; IELTS Academic – 6.5; Pearson Test of Academic English (PTE Academic) – 59; Cambridge Assessment English (CAE) C1 Advanced – 180.
Application Deadline for Fall: For freshmen international students the deadlines are November 1 (early action 1 deadline), December 1 (early action 2 deadline) and January 1 (regular deadline)
