The Quant Program mandates earning 36 credits, with 27 from required core courses and 9 from elective options. The academic plan consists of 9 foundational courses distributed over 4 semesters, following a specific sequence detailed below. Although students may accelerate completion to 3 semesters by taking all approved electives during that period, core courses must be taken in their designated semesters. Graduation requires completing all 36 credits. According to the Quant Program Core Course Policy, any deviation from this schedule or postponement of core courses will lead to automatic course withdrawal. Strict adherence to the core sequence is crucial for establishing a robust knowledge base and achieving the program's educational goals. This intensive program emphasizes advanced mathematical and statistical techniques, equipping graduates with refined quantitative abilities to tackle real-world financial challenges as quantitative analysts, financial engineers, risk specialists, traders, software developers, and other finance-related positions.
