The CSE master's program is designed for students aiming to deepen their expertise in specific computer science and engineering disciplines. Earning this degree requires just a modest time commitment but yields substantial career benefits, including enhanced job prospects and increased earning potential. To graduate, students must complete 30 credit hours of coursework, with the option to include a thesis. Most students finish the program within one to two years. Both the MS (Master of Science) and MSE (Master of Science in Engineering) degrees share identical requirements - the distinction lies primarily in the title. While engineering undergraduates may choose either degree, non-engineering bachelor's holders qualify only for the MS program.
