Qualification Requirements

BS degree in chemical engineering (or equivalent).

Nearly all admitted graduate students have a minimum combined GRE verbal and quantitative score of 300, and a minimum of 3.5 GRE analytical writing score. We look at the applicant’s highest GRE score, not the most recent.

A score of 250 on the computer-based version (CBT), 100 on the iBT, or 7.0 on the IELTS is required for international students except those with a degree from a university that teaches exclusively in English.
