Our data science initiatives emphasize integrating and efficiently querying materials and biological datasets. The proliferation of web services, sensors, and high-capacity storage has created vast amounts of diverse data for analysis. While statistics form the foundation of data mining, our research also encompasses innovative applications, scalable analytics platforms, privacy-preserving techniques, and advanced visualization tools for pattern discovery in complex datasets. Achievements include breakthroughs in medical event prediction, web data extraction, optimizations for Hadoop/Spark systems, and analysis of large-scale networks spanning social, communication, and neurological domains.
