The dual MS in Accounting/MS in Finance program enables students to leverage shared coursework between both degree curricula. This specialized program prepares graduates for roles in corporate accounting, controllership, public accounting, and financial services. Participants can choose between the corporate finance or investments track within the MS in Finance component. Designed for individuals with robust quantitative and analytical abilities, the program welcomes applicants from all undergraduate backgrounds. Upon completing 51-57 credit hours (with potential course waivers and electives), students earn both master's degrees concurrently. Courses are primarily campus-based, with numerous online options available. Flexible enrollment includes full-time or part-time options during fall and winter terms, plus select summer offerings. Full-time students typically finish within two years. The program features rolling admissions with start dates in September or January, and often May for part-time learners. Qualified University of Michigan-Dearborn undergraduates may take up to 6 graduate credits in their final semester before degree completion, after which they can continue with remaining graduate coursework.
