To earn both degrees, students need to fulfill the academic criteria set by each institution and are advised to discuss graduation prerequisites with their academic counselor. A collaborative program between the Department of Health Management and Policy (HMP) in the School of Public Health and the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy grants students the opportunity to obtain both a Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) and a Master of Public Policy (MPP). Please be aware that this Rackham-authorized dual degree option is exclusively available between the HMP department and the Ford School. Those interested in pursuing an MPH through a different SPH department should inquire with both institutions regarding potential enrollment in a Student-initiated Dual Degree pathway.
