The automotive industry in the 21st century is rapidly evolving with increased focus on lightweight construction, efficient powertrains, smart control technologies, reduced emissions, durable engineering, and enhanced comfort and safety features. This certification program enables automotive engineers to gain expertise in lightweight materials, innovations in ergonomic and structural engineering, vehicle dynamics and control systems, along with modern manufacturing methods (12 credit hours). Students can complete the certificate fully on-campus, fully online, or through a hybrid approach combining both formats.
