Our doctoral program is ideal for those aiming to establish themselves as scholars, researchers, educators, or professionals in human movement science, kinesiology, or related health and biomedical fields. PhD candidates in Movement Science cultivate advanced research and academic skills, ultimately producing an innovative dissertation that expands kinesiology knowledge. This program caters to individuals pursuing careers as experts, instructors, investigators, and practitioners in exercise physiology, biomechanics, motor control, and similar disciplines. From the outset, each PhD student collaborates closely with a faculty mentor. With their advisor's support, students undertake appropriate coursework, participate in research activities (including lab rotations and independent studies), develop research concepts, and finalize their dissertation before completing their degree.
