The Health Services Organization and Policy (H.S.O.P.) Program serves as the HMP department's PhD track, equipping students for research, academic, and policy analysis roles within healthcare services and policy. This program focuses on developing students' conceptual and analytical abilities to tackle diverse health services and policy challenges. These challenges span from weighing equity, efficiency, and political viability in social policy creation to practical aspects of healthcare organization, funding, utilization, and assessment. Our curriculum covers both individual healthcare services and the wider determinants affecting population health.
