Addressing today's environmental challenges demands multifaceted solutions that call for collaboration and mutual understanding among experts and generalists across various fields. The Environmental Studies Bachelor of Arts program emphasizes the cross-disciplinary approach needed to tackle environmental issues at local, regional, and global scales. The curriculum offers four (4) specialized concentration options. During their studies, participants regularly engage with peers from the Environmental Science program. Graduates emerge with diverse career prospects in both government and private organizations. Alumni have secured roles including educator, national park interpreter, resource policy strategist, air quality specialist, urban planner, public health administrator, and nonprofit organization director. Those eligible for postgraduate education should strongly contemplate pursuing an advanced degree, as most leadership roles require this qualification.
