Exercise Physiology ranks among Florida's most rapidly expanding academic disciplines. Undergraduates pursuing this major can opt for the Accelerated Master's Program, allowing them to earn an MS.Ed. in Exercise Physiology with just one extra year after their bachelor's degree. This 30-credit program includes 6 graduate credits during the senior year (KIN 679 and 686) plus 24 credits in the subsequent graduate year.
Students also benefit from extensive research collaborations supported by the department's partnerships with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, College of Arts and Sciences, Health South Doctors Hospital, and the Varsity Athletics Department. The 36-credit M.S.Ed. in Clinical and Applied Exercise Physiology typically requires about two years to finish.
