The Department of Sociology & Criminal Justice provides a Graduate Certificate in Criminology and Criminal Justice, tailored for students looking to enhance their expertise in these fields or for those preparing to join the M.S. program who might not yet fulfill all admission criteria. This certificate program covers essential knowledge about the criminal justice system and criminological theories, along with basic instruction in research methodologies and statistical analysis. To obtain the Certificate, students must complete five mandatory courses (totaling 15 credits), which can later be applied toward the full Master's degree program.

Qualification Requirements

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.
